New Zealand, Eh?

It's been approximately too long since I've been around on the blogosphere. So, I've come to check in because I'm back from New Zealand, and off on a new adventure -- working for a creative agency in the Bay Area!

I thought it might be a good time to share some pictures from my trip, though the real ones aren't in yet. For this vacation, I decided to shoot in film, and my dad in digital. Talk about role reversal. It was a really great experience for me as a photographer, because I really had to think a lot more. Color or black and white today? Is there enough lighting here? Do we have enough time for me to put a new roll in? Though sometimes it meant I was left lingering in places a little longer to get things just right, I think it was awesome. I've always loved film, and this only solidified that. Now, the new struggle is to find a place that develops well near our new house!

For now, enjoy these shots of New Zealand... and visit the site they're hosted on too! (thefriscobay.vsco.co)
